The buzz in Bollywood was very strong about the fact that Sara Ali Khan was being paired opposite Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali’s sequel to his 2009 hit Love Aaj Kal. However, most of these rumours came out after Sara appeared on Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan and revealed that she would like to date Kartik on a lighter note. A leading daily reported today that Sara was never considered for the part and in fact, it is Kiara Advani who has been offered the part opposite Kartik. However, Kiara took to Twitter to refute all such rumours about being considered for the film.
The leading daily had also reported that Imtiaz who is directing the film wants it to be as different from Love Aaj Kal as possible. The daily had reported that Kartik and Kiara are being considered for Love Aaj Kal 2 and apparently, the scripting part is still under process and the director is putting a modern spin to the love story. However, Kiara dispelled all such conjectures and wrote that she wished that it was true but she has not been approached for the film.

Kiara is riding high on the positive reviews that her Netflix series Lust Stories received. Moreover, Kartik has emerged as one of the newest heartthrobs in the country. The two even walked the ramp a few months back for Manish Malhotra and looked like a million bucks together. However, looks like we will have to wait to see this pair on screen together.
