Veteran Bollywood actor Kader Khan has not been keeping well for some time. He is currently in Canada staying with his son Sarfaraz and daughter-in-law. According to reports received, his health is critical and has been deteriorating. He has been complaining of breathing issues causing him breathlessness. Keeping in mind his frail condition, the doctors have shifted him from a regular ventilator to a BiPAP ventilator. This is done to help him recover without causing harm to his health.
As per reports, the actor is conscious and is maintaining eye-contact, but not always. However, the veteran actor has stopped talking and is showing symptoms of pneumonia. His current frail condition is because of the PSP ailment that he has been grappling with. Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), also known as Steele–Richardson–Olszewski syndrome is a degenerative disease in which specific parts of the brain deteriorates and stops functioning properly.

An entertainment portal made contact with Kader’s son in an interview and he stated that the veteran actor is having difficulty walking and needs support for the same. He also said that Kader wishes to sit after walking for a while as he is scared that he will fall and hurt himself.
Sarfaraz revealed that the actor had undergone knee surgery and although it was successful he was asked to start walking right after the surgery but because he did not do so it had an adverse effect on his health.
