Riteish Deshmukh to play a dwarf in Sidharth Malhotra starrer Marjaavaan?

After Shah Rukh Khan who plays a vertically challenged man in the upcoming film Zero, Riteish Deshmukh is all set to play one too in director Milap Milan Zaveri’s film that also stars Sidharth Malhotra. The film is titled Marjaavaan and also stars Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead. Riteish who has been busy promoting his Marathi film Mauli will join the shoot of the film in a couple of days.

This is the second film in which Riteish and Sidharth are teaming up. They were last seen in Ek Villain whose dialogues were written by Zaveri and directed by Mohit Suri. So, in fact, it is like a reunion of the trio. Riteish took to Twitter to give the confirmation on his association with the film.

Marjaavaan had gone on floors recently and the cast and crew had shared a group photo together. However, Riteish was missing from the picture as he was busy with the promotions and had not started the shoot of the film. However, he replied to the picture with his tweet.

Talking about Marjaavaan, Milap had earlier told a leading entertainment portal, “Marjaavaan is a very powerful film. There’s a beautiful love story. It’s an angry love and not a popcorn love. I think people loved the tagline: Ishq Mein Marenge Bhi, Maarenge Bhi.”

Sidharth took to Instagram yesterday to share a photo from the sets of the film and wrote, “Ishq aur inteqaam ka koi mazhab nahi, koi ek Rab nahi! #Marjaavaan Shoot begins today!”
