Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone stepped out for the photo-op at their Mumbai reception on November 28 and smiled for the paparazzi. But the best thing happened after that as Ranveer, who wouldn’t let go of his wife’s hands even for once, proceeded towards the banquet hall at The Grand Hyatt while she bid goodbye to the waiting crowd.
Trust us, but pictures of this particular shot featuring Deepika and Ranveer is reminiscent of Shah Rukh Khan’s 1995 film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Deepika, elegant in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, posed beside Ranveer, handsome in a Rohit Bal outfit and it’s difficult to take our eyes off them.

This is the second reception that Deepika and Ranveer hosted after the event at her hometown Bengaluru. Ranveer and Deepika will conclude post-wedding festivities with another reception in Mumbai on December 1 – hosted for their friends and colleagues from the film industry.
Deepika and Ranveer married according to Konkani and North Indian rituals in Italy. The Konkani wedding was held on November 14 and the North Indian wedding, on November 15. The wedding was a private affair as only 40 guests were reportedly invited.
