Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are all set to tie the knot today in a big fat Indian wedding at Italy's Lake Como. Well, it is not unknown that the much-in-love couple has been dating since they met on the sets of their first film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Goliyon Ki Raas Leela-Ram Leela. But are you aware that love blossomed between Ranveer and Deepika with a passionate unscripted kiss during the shoot of the song Ang Laga De.
Interestingly, Ranveer and Deepika had to kiss each other towards the end of the song. However, a long time after SLB said 'cut' the couple's lips were still locked with their hands around each other's backs. And apparently, that's how it all began. A leading website quoted a crew member who witnessed the scene as saying, "We knew they are kind of a thing but Ang Laga De confirmed it. That kiss was so intensely passionate, nobody uttered a word. I still can't forget that sight. It was new love—euphoric and maddening."
What's more, the couple reportedly made no efforts to hide their relationship and their romance was blooming off-screen. "They'd call each other baby, eat together, and disappear into their vanity vans when not shooting. It was adorable," the crew member added.
Meanwhile, another crew member, who worked on the sets of Bajirao Mastani, claimed that they all realised that Ranveer's and Deepika's relationship wasn't the kind which will fade away with time. "When I saw them during Bajirao Mastani, that's when I knew, this is something that's going to last. It's their body language, the way they talk to and about each other, and a general vibe that's a telling sign," the crew member told the website.
To say the least, Ranveer and Deepika did prove everyone wrong as they are all geared up to be joined in holy matrimony for life.
