We are just a few hours away from Ranveer Singh's and Deepika Padukone's big fat Indian wedding in Italy! With every passing second, fans are finding it extremely difficult to contain their tears of joy and excitement going through the roof. Deepika and Ranveer, whose on-screen chemistry in films like Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani has been loved as much as their off-screen camaraderie, will tie the knot over two days of ceremonies on November 14-15.
The couple has been dating each other for six years but never confirmed their relationship until recently. They put rest to months of speculation about their nuptials with a social media announcement of their wedding dates. Picking a picturesque location of Lake Como in Italy, DeepVeer are all set to solemnize their courtship by entering the holy matrimony. Everything about the wedding seems to have been chalked out and planned well in advance - right from the Konkani and Sindhi-style wedding rituals to exclusive dishes for the guests; folks, a fairytale has indeed come true.
As we prepare to see our IT couple become husband and wife sealing their forever and happily ever after, we have compiled a list of things you need to know about the extravaganza:

We had earlier exclusively confirmed that Deepika and Ranveer will reportedly be taking their wedding vows at the picturesque Villa del Balbianello overlooking Lake Como. Interestingly, many feature films have used the villa for location shooting, including A Month by the Lake (1995), Casino Royale (2006). But the villa grabbed the maximum eyeballs when it was used for the lake retreat scenes in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones (2002), showcasing Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala wedding sequence.

During the big social media announcement on October 21, both Ranveer and Deepika had shared a glimpse of their wedding invitation card revealing the dates that read as, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November, 2018.”
But did you know there’s a heartwarming reason why Ranveer and Deepika have chosen November 15 as their wedding date? Well, the date marks the fifth anniversary of the release of their first film together, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ramleela. Since it is said that cupid struck them on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, the date is obviously special to the couple.
3.Wedding Reception
We exclusively chanced upon their reception invite from which we were made aware that the event will be held at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on November 28.

A reception in Bengaluru will also be held to host Deepika's extended family and circle of friends.
4.Wedding Ceremonies
PeepingMoon.com has learned that there’s going to be two ceremonies for the wedding – a Konkani one for Padukone and a Sindhi one for Singh. The former one will take place on November 14 while the latter on the following day.
5.Wedding Trousseau
As per our sources, Deepika will stick to hues of golden, marigold and orange for her Konkani wedding saree. The saree will be worn in ‘Kachche’ or the dhoti style, where the pallu drape is shorter and often tucked inside the waistline. As we have earlier revealed that Deepika will be adorning the jewels from Tanishq, she will be seen sporting ornaments like Vaki, Ambada Aati, Pake and Jada Choti accessory on the wedding day.

For her Sindhi wedding rituals, Deepika will be seen wearing a lehenga in the hues of pink and purple and the breathtaking royal jadau necklace that she had on in the unforgettable Jauhar sequence of her last film Padmaavat accompanied with maang tika and nath.
As for Ranveer, the spunky and fashion-forward star will be a Sabyasachi groom too! While we await more details on his trousseau, rest assured it's gonna be one in a million look.
6.Food Menu
An entertainment portal reported that both Deepika and Ranveer have zeroed down to exquisite Versace cutlery for the big day. The portal also revealed that the actors have signed a bond with the chefs stating that the special recipes that will be put out on their wedding will not be repeated anywhere else as they want an exclusive badge on their marriage.
As for the wedding cake and the desserts, special chefs from Switzerland will be doling out their best recipes.
7.Performances
Singer Harshdeep Kaur's soulful voice will lend musical magic to the wedding festivities of actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in Italy.

A group of musicians, including the popular Sufi singer Harshdeep and Sanjoy Das, have reached the venue to perform at the celebrations, set to take place in the picturesque Lake Como.
8.Wedding Gifts
Power couple Deepika and Ranveer have have urged their guests to direct gifts in the form of a donation to The Live Love Laugh Foundation, which works towards spreading awareness on mental health.. We tip our hat to their large-heartedness, for this opulent extravaganza will light up lives too!
9.Wedding Photographers
We hear that the star couple has roped in the same photographers for the event, who covered Anushka Sharma’s and Virat Kohli’s dreamy Tuscan wedding as well.
The wedding filming company, by the name The Wedding Filmer, had covered Virushka’s wedding beautifully last December and it looks like Deepika and Ranveer were left mighty impressed with their coverage.
10.Honeymoon
A leading tabloid had learnt that the newly weds would perhaps have to cut short their vacay owing to professional commitments. A source informed the daily, “The couple will head for a brief honeymoon before Ranveer dives into the promotions of Simmba which opens on December 28.” Uh oh, but work first.
While the wedding is around the corner, waiting to see us in the face soon, the pre-wedding festivities were nothing short of a dream. The couple has celebrated their Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony already and while Deepika was busy getting henna applied on her palm, Ranveer danced his heart out on old songs that were played.
During a thumri performed by Shubha, Deepika got emotional and broke down, Ranveer who saw her lady love in tears went over and gave her a tight hug and consoled her. In fact, Ranveer even sang a song for Deepika during the sangeet ceremony.
A report by an entertainment portal suggested that Ranveer and Deepika personally greeted their guests at the venue where the ring ceremony was taking place with a handwritten note that touched everyone present.
