Deepika Padukone’s and Ranveer Singh’s wedding is less than a day away. The most-anticipated wedding of the year will be held on November 14-15 at Lake Como in Italy. The actors have kept their wedding very intimate and have already kick-started their pre-wedding festivities with Mehendi ceremony. Some of the close friends of the couple in the industry are Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra and Rohit Shetty and it was reported that they were invited to the wedding.
However, none of them will be attending the wedding in Italy. Rohit who shared a heartfelt message last week for his Simmba (Ranveer) and Meenamma (Deepika's character in Chennai Express) will not be going to Italy because of his work commitments. He has just wrapped his upcoming film Simmba starring Ranveer and is busy with that.

On the other hand, Deepika and Ranveer had visited Bhansali and Farah in order to seek their blessings and not invite them for the wedding. Deepika and Ranveer came close while working on Bhansali’s film Goliyon Ki Rasleela-RamLeela and Deepika made her Bollywood debut in Farah’s film Om Shanti Om.

It was also reported that they have invited Shah Rukh and Aditya for the wedding but neither of them will be attending as SRK is busy with Zero promotions and Aditya is a highly reserved person who refrains from attending social functions. Ranveer’s and Deepika’s wedding in Italy will be a closed and guarded affair with only 40 close friends and family attending the big day. However, all their Bollywood colleagues and peers will be attending the lavish reception in Mumbai on November 28.
