It it not unknown that Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif have been paired alongside each other in Remo D'souza's upcoming dance film, which is touted to be India's biggest 3D Film till date. Now if a report in a leading daily is to be believed, the film is slated to go on the floors in January in Punjab with Varun’s portions being shot first. The team will then head to London, where the dance competition scenes will be completed.
Apparently, the makers are keen to develop a completely new look for Varun’s character. A source close to the development informed the daily, "The film has been titled ABC3D to highlight the 3D format of the film. Varun and Katrina, who play dancers in the film, are expected to begin training in multiple dance forms with Remo’s team shortly." Reportedly, the film will have a non-stop schedule of two and a half months and the team is expected to wrap up by March next year.
Choreographer-actor-filmmaker Prabhu Dheva besides dancers Dharmesh Yelande, Raghav Juyal and Punit Pathak who had featured in earlier ABCD 2, will also star in the third film of the popular franchise. The source further added that the makers are keen to convert the film into 4DX.
Meanwhile, recent reports suggest that while Varun has been cast as an Indian dancer in the dance-based project, Katrina will be seen playing a dancer from Pakistan. Furthermore, it is touted that the film will be made at a budget of Rs 100 crore and Remo is said to be certain that with stars like Varun and Katrina, the film will make profit.
