Rani should give me a million gifts as I made her career by saying no to KKHH: Twinkle Khanna

Karan Johar's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completes 20 years of its release today and to commemorate the milestone a big bash was organized. Now, it's fairly common knowledge that Karan wrote Rani Mukerji's character Tina keeping in mind his childhood best friend Twinkle Khanna. She was the first one to hear the narration of the script too but she went on to say no to the role.

Whatever, be her reason but the film became a huge hit and Rani who eventually did the role became a huge star after the film. Twinkle, who is now a bestselling author and is well-known for her humour said, "Rani Mukerji should give me a million gifts as I made her career by saying no to KKHH."

She even quipped that her family keeps on taking a dig at her because she said 'no' to the film. Twinkle revealed what her mother Dimple Kapadia says about Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. She said, "My mother says my absence is best part of the film." Now, isn't that really hilarious? Now we know, where twinkle gets her sarcasm from.
