Kartik Aaryan lands Imtiaz Ali’s next thanks to delay in Kirik Party’s start?

After the stupendous success of his last release Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety that made it to the Rs 100 crore club, Kartik Aaryan has been on cloud nine and reaping the most out it. The young actor has been bagging one promising project after another and has just wrapped up the shoot for his next film Luka Chuppi opposite Kriti Sanon. After signing Kirik Party remake he has now bagged Imtiaz Ali's next film as well.

Kartik had signed the remake of the hit Kannada romantic-comedy Kirik Party opposite Jacqueline Fernandez some time back and it was supposed to go on floors this month. However, the film has been pushed by a month as a leading trade portal reported that the film’s script is being reworked upon keeping in mind today’s sensibilities. Now the film is slated to go on floors in November or December. The film is to be directed by Abhishek Jain and produced by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor and Vrithika Laykar.

Thanks, to this delay, Kartik has been able to sign Ali's next film. The film which will be a love story will be produced and directed by Ali. The film is said to go on floors in February in 2019. With Imtiaz’s soul-stirring storytelling combined with Kartik’s quirkiness, we’re sure the film will be a sure shot winner at the box office.
