Baba and Baba are married to each other: Arjun Kapoor on his special bond with Ranveer Singh

Arjun Kapoor’s cheerful, carefree and candid disposition is a hit with his colleagues as well as his fans. He is one actor who is friendly with the actresses as well as the male stars. He also boasts of many close friends in the industry and never loses an opportunity to troll them whether it’s Katrina Kaif or Parineeti Chopra. However, his bromance with Ranveer Singh is what legends are made of. The two first appeared the film Gunday together but took the country by storm when they appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan together.

During a recent interview given to a leading daily, Arjun spoke about his camaraderie with Ranveer and the pressing issue of his marriage. When he was asked to confirm the upcoming wedding of Ranveer with Deepika Padukone this November, he said, “I don’t know about that Baba (Ranveer) and I don’t know about this Baba (referring to himself). I think Baba and Baba are married to each other. Hum dono ki shaadi ho chuki hai.”

He also spoke about his own wedding and the ultimatum that his dadi had given him on his birthday to get married soon. He said candidly, “I haven’t thought about my wedding. There are Anshula and Rhea. We just had two weddings in the family. Between Mohit’s (cousin Mohit Marwah) and Sonam’s (Ahuja nee Kapoor) nuptials, the designers have run out of creativity. Let’s give them some time and a new season to come up with new collections.” Adding on a more senior and responsible note he said, “I’d like to make sure Anshula is married before I take the plunge, it would make me a calmer person to see her settled. I’m 33, I still need some more time before settling down.”

Arjun was also quick to congratulate his Gunday co-star Priyanka Chopra on her engagement to American singer-actor Nick Jonas and said, “Unfortunately, I couldn’t go for Priyanka’s (engagement) party as I was shooting that time. But I told her I was very happy for her. I hope she has an amazing life with Nick (Jonas).”

Now, isn’t he amazing? We wonder whom would Arjun get married to once Anhsula settles down.
