'Mujhe darr tha zyada baat karne se nazar lag jayegi!' - Arjun opens up on his changed equation with Janhvi

It is not unknown that Arjun Kapoor has stood by his father Boney Kapoor and half-sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor like a rock after the untimely demise of veteran actress Sridevi. "So much happened that we didn’t have the time to figure things out. Having experienced something as harsh as that, I wouldn’t wish it for my worst enemy. I was in Punjab when I got the news. I called my maasi and sister immediately. I had to do what I felt was right. That’s what mom would expect of me, to be there for my father and family. If I can be a good brother and a good son, then why not? Mujhe toh kuchh achha hi mil raha hai, I’m getting two more sisters and helping my father feel a little relaxed," cleared Arjun, who has been receiving love from all the quarters for his bold step.

In fact, things have turned for the better in the Kapoor khandaan and the relationship between Arjun-Anshula and Janhvi-Khushi has become stronger with each passing day. Now in a recent interview with a leading daily, Arjun opened up that the change happened overtime as he "wanted things to take their own course."

Talking about his half-sisters, he said, "Janhvi and Khushi are both sorted. Today, we are able to speak one-on-one. I know they will figure out life in their own time, in their own way. Anshula and I are there for them." He further maintained how they don't wish to suddenly become a happy pretentious khandaan but feels that it is his duty to ensure that his family is shielded against the prying and interfering eyes. "Mujhe darr tha ki zyada baat karne se nazar lag jayegi. I wanted things to take their own course," and added, "Now, I’m talking about it as there’s a certain ease and I’ve been able to figure things out."

Well, we applaud Arjun for handling the tough times with sheer maturity.

Moreover, it would not be wrong to say that Arjun is a complete family man as he revealed that it is important to connect, sit down and have a meal with your loved ones. He further said how his family has been able to get that perspective, which has thereby aided in the betterment of their relationship. "Kabhi kabhi in all the bhaag-daud, you don’t realize how important it is to connect, sit down and have a meal with your loved ones," stated the eldest Kapoor sibling, before signing off.
