Priyanka Chopra to start London schedule of The Sky is Pink with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim

After getting engaged to American singer-actor Nick Jonas in a traditional roka ceremony on August 18 in Mumbai, Priyanka Chopra flew to the US to spend some quality time with her fiancé and his family. They had a gala time ringing in Nick’s 26th birthday at a baseball match and hanging out at a ranch in Oklahoma.

They also presented a cute picture at Isha Ambani’s and Anand Piramal’s engagement at Lake Como in Italy where they hung out with Manish Malhotra, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. However, now the actress is back in the bay and will be resuming work on Shonali Bose’s film The Sky is Pink in October.

Priyanka shared an Instagram story from the sets of The Sky is Pink where she is seen dressed as a bride. She captioned the story as, “What is happening here..?!” Funnily enough, the image also showed a white towel and a steam iron near her head. What exactly does this mean?

As reported by a leading daily, PeeCee who arrived in Mumbai on Monday will once again take off for London in early October to resume shooting for Shonali’s film that also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. The film is the true story of motivational speaker and author Aisha Chaudhary (played by Zaira) who was born with an immune deficiency disorder and was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the young age of 13 years.

A source told the daily, “After completing the first schedule of the film in August in Mumbai, they will now shoot for a major portion in the UK, where Aisha had grown up, between October 10 and 21. Shonali has already done the recee and is presently prepping for the extensive schedule.” Farhan and Priyanka play parents to Zaira in the film.
