The motion posters of the characters of director Vijay Krishna Acharya’s upcoming film Thugs Of Hindostan has made the wait impossible for the trailer and while we were waiting impatiently for its release, Katrina Kaif informed on her Instagram story that September 27 is the date you need to watch out for. Thugs Of Hindostan is a fantasy drama and casts Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the principal roles apart from Katrina.
On Instagram, a fan asked Katrina about the date on which the trailer of her new film will release to which she responded instantly. Incidentally, September 27 marks Yash Chopra’s birthday while sources close to the development said that the legendary filmmaker’s son Aditya, who is producing Thugs Of Hindostan under his banner of Yash Raj Films, wanted to release the trailer on his father’s birth anniversary.
"Adi and Aamir discussed and decided to release the trailer on the birth anniversary of the iconic filmmaker, Yash Chopra. It is a salute to his genius vision,” sources said of the film that is reportedly Yash Raj Films’ “biggest production” so far.
In Thugs Of Hindostan, Big B stars as Khudabaksh, Aamir as Firangi while Fatima plays a warrior, Safira. Katrina has been cast as the gorgeous performer Suraiyya.
Thugs Of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug. According to several media reports, Thugs Of Hindostan is one of the most expensive films to have been made in Bollywood. The cast and crew shot for the film at exotic locations, including Malta, in order to bring alive the amalgamation of fantasy and reality onscreen.
Thugs Of Hindostan is scheduled to release on November 8.
