Did Sunny Leone refuse a role in Game of Thrones? Here's the truth

Television series Game of Thrones, based on the book A Song of Ice and Fire, has managed to create a buzz with every season. The popular fantasy-drama, which premiered April 2011, will finally conclude with its eighth season in 2020. While any actor would do anything to be a part of the leading show, it looks like it doesn't affect Bollywood actress Sunny Leone much.

We hear that Sunny was offered a role in Game of Thrones but she apparently turned it down. In an interview with a leading website, Sunny revealed that someone had contacted her to offer her a role in the show, claiming that the decision to have her on board was made at the last minute. She was  quoted as saying, "I got this message one day. This guy’s like, ‘I know it’s really last minute, but we want to cast you for a role in Game Of Thrones’, and I was like Oh my God! No Way!”

She further revealed that she was not just elated to hear it but was eager to take up the role. Well, who would refuse an offer from Game of Thrones makers? However, amidst her excitement, she soon found out that the offer was a fake one. Talking about it, she added, "And then they sent the IMDB link to see who it was and then… It was fake!" We bet Sunny would have been highly disappointed to know that.

Meanwhile, from being an adult star to playing lead in Bollywood films, Sunny's career has come a long way. Her life has also inspired a digital platform series titled Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone, which is currently in its second season.
