Informed about younger sister Anshula’s ill health, Arjun Kapoor leaves shoot to be with her

Be it work or anything else on the planet, for Arjun Kapoor, his sister Anshula is his first priority. While filming Raj Kumar Gupta’s India’s Most Wanted in Nepal, Arjun was informed about Anshula’s migraine attack following which she was hospitalized. The 33-year-old actor immediately left for Mumbai to be with his sister and promised Gupta that he will work on double shifts upon his return, reports a leading daily.

Although Anshula has been discharged from the hospital, Arjun will be with her till she recovers completely. “Anshula is better now and just needs some more rest. She tried her best to convince me that she was okay so that I could finish work but honestly, I’d rather see her recover in person,” Arjun told the daily.

In the meantime, sources also told the daily that Anshula is recuperating well while Arjun will resume filming in Patna next week. Promotional duties for his upcoming film Namaste England with Parineeti Chopra will also keep him busy.

Not that Arjun neglected his shoot schedule in Nepal after being told of Anshula’s health condition. In fact, he worked continuously and wrapped the schedule a day early after which he left for Mumbai.

“The production team stepped up to help Arjun when he approached Raj Kumar sir for a break from the shooting. Arjun made sure to wrap up the Nepal schedule a day early and flew back to Mumbai quietly. He has been with Anshula ever since,” a source told the daily.

Arjun and Anshula are filmmaker Boney Kapoor’s children from his former wife Mona Shourie. Anshula’s father and her family friends rushed to be with her soon after she was hospitalized.

Arjun, meanwhile, is busy with several projects apart from Namaste England and India's Most Wanted. He will also be seen in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Panipat.
