After revealing Amitabh Bachchan’s character from Thugs Of Hindostan, the makers of the film introduced Zafira, played by Fatima Sana Shaikh, on Wednesday. The motion poster, featuring Fatima in an intense appearance, was released online and began trending soon after it was made available.
Fatima has been cast as a warrior in Thugs Of Hindostan - dressed in an anachronistic attire, she wields a bow and an arrow with ‘fire in her heart’. She is a talented fighter and specializes in combat by bow and arrow. Her accuracy is on point and she doesn’t miss a target, ever.
Presenting Zafira:
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Thugs Of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug and casts Aamir Khan as the protagonist. The film is a fantasy action-adventure and co-stars Katrina Kaif apart from Big B.
According to several media reports, Thugs Of Hindostan is one of the most expensive films to have been made in Bollywood. The cast and crew shot for the film at exotic locations, including Malta, in order to bring alive the amalgamation of fantasy and reality onscreen.

Fatima, meanwhile, appeared as a child artiste in the films Chachi 420 and One 2 Ka 4. Thugs Of Hindostan is her second project with Aamir after 2016’s Dangal in which she was cast as his daughter Geeta Phogat. Aamir played Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat in Dangal, which was received exceptionally well at the box office as well as by critics.
