Varun Dhawan will make a very good husband, says Sui Dhaaga co-star Anushka Sharma

Ever since the promotions for Sui Dhaaga: Made In India began, Varun Dhawan, who portrays the role of Mauji and Anushka Sharma, cast as his wife Mamta in the film, have been hopping from one city to another. With Sui Dhaaga, Varun and Anushka seem to be the new buddies in town.

At the India Today Mind Rock Delhi 2018, Anushka, who is married to cricketer Virat Kohli since 2017, praised Varun and said that he will “make a very good husband”.

He is the nicest guy that I have worked with, there is no doubt about it. He is genuinely respectful towards women. I'm sure he is a great boyfriend and I also think he will make a great husband,” Anushka said.

When Varun was questioned about getting married, he said that as of now, he will just attend weddings as a guest. Further, he said when the time and person is right, he will marry. Varun is allegedly dating Natasha Dalal. 

"As far as marriage is concerned, it's not only up to me. There's another person involved as well. So I think as and when the time is right, sab badhiya hai," Varun told the daily publication.

At the event, Varun and Anushka shook a leg on the song Sab Badhiya Hai from Sui Dhaaga and interacted with their fans in the audience.

Varun also spoke about the "greatest love of his life", brother Rohit's and wife Jaanhvi Desai’s three-month-old daughter. He gushed that the feeling of seeing a baby for the first time is life-changing.

"It's amazing. The feeling when you see a baby for the first time is something else. It's life-changing," he expressed at the event.

When asked about children, he proudly spoke about being obsessed with his niece, adding that he considers her as his own child. 

"I think she is my child only. She's my brother's child and I love my brother so I'm obsessed with my niece," Varun said when asked if he was looking forward to having any children of his own. "I'm very good with babies and children in general. I have learnt everything, from burping to changing the nappy. I assist my bhabhi with everything," he added.

Sui Dhaaga: Made In India casts Varun and Anushka in the principal roles and is scheduled to release on September 28. Post this, Varun will be sharing screen space with his Student of the Year co-star Alia Bhatt in Kalank whereas Anushka will be seen with Shah Rukh Khan in Zero.
