Deepika Padukone to collaborate with Raazi director Meghna Gulzar for her next?

Deepika Padukone last featured on screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, which released in January this year. Ever since then, her fans are eagerly awaiting for her next appearance on celluloid. However, it looks like the wait is finally over as DP is already in talks for her next Bollywood project.

As per a report in a leading daily, the actress will team up with none other than Raazi director Meghna Gulzar. While the details of the film have been kept under wraps, we've heard that the discussion between the two ladies has commenced. Interestingly, rumours were also rife lately that Deepika has been offered the remake of a Sridevi super hit which was made nearly forty years ago. Now if that’s the project that Deepika and Meghna are talking about, is still left to be seen.

Meanwhile, Deepika was cast opposite Irrfan Khan in Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming project but due to the actor’s ill-health, the film was postponed. Apparently, Deepika has also returned the signing amount of the film in question to Bhardwaj. So, it looks like that it will be perhaps Meghna who will pull the actress out of her hiatus.

In the meantime, the Deepika has been in the news for her impending wedding with beau Ranveer Singh in November.
