Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is well known for being frank, blunt and often gives out comments which are unfiltered and not-so-diplomatic. The actress was at her honest best at Anaita Adajania Shroff’s chat show Feet Up With the Stars. Some of the questions posed to her were downright problematic and some other actress might have denied answering them but Sonam stood her ground and gave straightforward answers to all. Anaita asked her whom she thought of as a troublemaker and Sonam without batting an eyelid took Kangana Ranaut’s name.
Sonam said that since Kangana wants to break the glass ceiling she is a troublemaker in the best possible way. She said, “She wants to break the glass ceiling and you need to be a troublemaker to do that. Not a troublemaker, but someone who stirs the pot. She does it in the most incredible way, so kudos to her.”
Kangana has time and again managed to stir up controversies with her remarks and has miffed some of the most powerful people in Bollywood. She blatantly called Karan Johar the ‘flag-bearer of nepotism’ on his chat show Koffee With Karan which became a big debate and is still ongoing.
Later, Kangana appeared on a popular television show hosted by a leading journalist and spoke about her affairs with Hrithik Roshan and Adhyayan Suman and her abuse at the hands of Aditya Pancholi. Recently, Kangana was embroiled in another controversy when she took over the reins of directorship for her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi from director Krish.
