Kareena Kapoor who made her comeback to the silver screen post maternity break with the Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania starrer Veere Di Wedding is all set to try her hand at a new medium. The actress is following her friend ace filmmaker Karan Johar and is gearing up to host her own radio show, which is expected to air from December this year. Kareena kicked off her brand new venture on Wednesday with a special photoshoot at a Mumbai studio. She looks stunning as ever in the picture that was released today of her as a radio jockey.
Apparently, she got the idea from Karan himself. After he started his own show she discussed the idea with him and after he gave his go-ahead, Kareena decided to take the plunge. A leading daily quoted a source, “Just like Calling Karan, this one too, on Ishq 104.8 FM, will give listeners a chance to interact with Kareena, who is expected to start recording for the show in the coming days.”

Kareena told the leading daily, “I couldn’t have asked for a better start on this platform. I am doing my first radio show and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.” Let’s wait and watch how the show pans out as the details of the show are still withheld, but we’re sure the actress will do a good job of becoming a RJ.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena will be next seen in Karan Johar’s Takht which has an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. She will also be reuniting with Akshay Kumar in a film titled Good News.
