Twinkle Khanna will never be able to do these two things only because of husband Akshay

Twinkle Khanna is a multitasker in the truest sense of the word. She is an author, newspaper columnist, former film actress and interior designer and guess what, she also intended to become a stand-up comedian. It’s one of her “fantasies”, in fact, but she has been advised against it, by none other than her husband, actor Akshay Kumar.

In an interview with a leading daily, Twinkle said that Akshay has asked her to refrain from venturing into her film career, yet again, and also never do stand-up comedy because she is “terrible” at both.  Well, we are not saying this. It’s either Akshay's or Twinkle’s opinion. We're sure it's slightly impossible for Twinkle to be "terrible" with anything because she is so good at just about everything.

“Actually, it’s one of my fantasies to be a stand-up comic. I practise in the mirror. But my husband (Akshay Kumar) has told me two things, to never go back to acting and not to ever do stand-up comedy, because I’m terrible at both,” Twinkle told the daily.

Daughter of veteran actors Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle made her debut in the film industry with Barsaat in 1995 and subsequently starred in the films Jaan, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Baadshah, Mela, Joru Ka Ghulam and Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. She was last seen in a special appearance in Akshay’s 2010 film Tees Maar Khan.

Akshay and Twinkle married in 2001. They parent two children – son Aarav and daughter Nitara.

Twinkle, on September 8, launched her third book Pyjamas Are Forgiving at an event in Mumbai. She has also authored Mrs Funnybones and The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad.

As far as Akshay is concerned, he was last seen in Gold and will appear next in Rajinikanth’s 2.0, Kesari and Housefull 4.
