Arjun Kapoor on his 33rd birthday received a lot of wishes from his fans, colleagues, friends and family, but one wish stood out amongst the deluge of blessings that he received, and that was from none other than his paternal grandmother Nirmal S Kapoor. The matriarch issued a “threat and a request, a bribe and a command” that he get married soon. This came after his cousin Sonam Kapoor’s wedding to businessman Anand Ahuja. During a recent interview to a leading daily, Arjun spoke about his marriage plans and how he wants to fulfil his Dadi's demand at the right time with the right person.
Speaking about the demands made by his grandmother, Arjun said, “Dadi has never articulated her feelings so firmly. Before this, it was all said in jest, this time she’s put a tick to it, and since dadi has few expectations from me, I intend to fulfil this demand at the right time with the right person.”

He also pointed out the fact that like a good elder brother he would like his sister Anshula and cousin sister Rhea to settle down first. He also added jokingly, “Besides, there have just been two weddings (Mohit Marwah and Sonam Kapoor) and we should give the family time too, else they’ll get tired attending weddings. Mujhe bas thodi si mohlat de do (just give me some time), please.”
Arjun’s fans have been asking him to hook up with his co-star Parineeti Chopra with whom he shares an amazing on-screen as well as off-screen chemistry. The two first starred together in Ishaqzaade and will once again be seen in Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s forthcoming film Namaste England and Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar.
However, there are rumours that he is dating Malaika Arora. The duo was spotted a few weeks ago sitting side-by-side at a fashion show of an acclaimed designer. Well, only time will tell who Arjun finally gets married to, till then let’s wait and watch.
