Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are hogging all the limelight lately with their rumoured wedding. Although it is speculated that the two lovebirds will be tying the knot on November 20 this year, the actors are doing a fabulous job of keeping details of their nuptials hidden. However, the latest buzz is that Ranveer and Deepika will be tying the know as per traditional Sindhi rituals.
As per a report in a leading daily, it is learned that Ranveer's family is keen on having a typical Sindhi wedding with traditional customs. Moreover, the wedding will apparently include the ceremony of Saanth, which has friends and relatives tearing the groom's clothes.
Well, this certainly seems pretty interesting and we wonder what DP has to say about it.
On a related note, reports of the much-in-love couple finally walking down the aisle at Lake Como in Italy, have been doing the rounds for some time now. However, the wedding will be followed by a lavish wedding reception in Mumbai and another smaller one in Bengaluru for Deepika’s extended family. Apparently, a grand Nandi Puja will kick-start the pre-wedding festivities in Bengaluru ten days prior to the actual wedding.
Interestingly, during a recent interview, Deepika was asked about her wedding details. Although she remained tight-lipped, she just added, “You’ll know soon,” saying it all while revealing nothing. Now isn’t that making the wait more difficult?
On the work front, Ranveer is busy wrapping up the shoot for his Rohit Shetty directed film Simmba which also stars Sara Ali Khan. He has already wrapped up Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt. However, Deepika has not signed any film after the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat.
