Talking about the Meghna Gulzar directorial Raazi, he said, "When I read the script of the film and reached the last page, I said a silent thank you to all those unknown, unsung heroes who risk their lives to protect my family and friends. If Raazi 2 is ever made, I’ll do it even if I have one scene because it is a human story, which invokes deep passions. It presents real feelings of people living on both the sides of the border."

With films like Masaan, Raazi and Sanju to his credit, Vicky has certainly emerged as a star but owes it all to his hard work and love for acting. He further revealed how he opted for a career in films at the time when his parents were celebrating his academic success and added how they were taken aback when he declared that acting is his calling in life.

Last but not the least, when prodded if his co-stars are envious of his growth and success at times, Vicky admitted that he does not take himself too seriously. “Honestly, I’m so overwhelmed with all the love and affection coming my way that I can’t even think of stardom or envy. But if I felt that somebody is not comfortable around me, I would definitely confront him/her and iron out the differences," shared the actor.
