Shah Rukh Khan might not join politics but he certainly has a party symbol in mind!

Shah Rukh Khan is perhaps one of the most recognized and renowned Indian faces across the globe. Besides ruling millions of hearts with his impeccable set of acting, he is known to floor the audience with his chivalrous persona and wit. Considering Shah Rukh's unique appeal, one would wonder that politics should be a natural transgression for him but the superstar certainly thinks otherwise.

Terming himself to be not "selfless" enough, SRK said in an interaction with a leading news channel, "Oh, I love to do everything for the country in terms of the job that I do, as an entertainer. But you know, politics is a specialized field, and I don't have that much knowledge of being part of politics."

The 52-year-old further listed the reasons as to why he thinks himself to be unsuitable for the job and added, "You need to be an expert. Als,o I believe you need to be completely selfless, dedicated and working towards making the part of your people have a better life. So I don't know if I am strongly selfless about it as yet or not. So, I don't think, I doubt if I'd be part of politics."

Well, it seems SRK might not be interested in politics but to our surprise, the actor certainly has a party symbol in mind. Any guesses? "Outstretched arms," he quipped when asked about it, referring to his trademark pose in the movies.

At a time when politics as a profession have lured some notable names from the film industry, SRK does not seem inclined to ever join their league but at the same time, understands why mega south stars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan would "take the plunge".

Talking about them, he added, "Rajni sir I know feels for it, (and) Kamal sir. I have had chats with them over the years, and I genuinely feel - and even before they joined politics, I think both of them were in the public field of helping people socially. I think they were more aware of that aspect a lot earlier than even now when there's talk about them joining politics."

SRK concluded by saying that he certainly wishes to do his bit and lend his support as a public figure, whenever needed.
