It was a sheer moment of joy for Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput’s fans to watch her in her first ever advertisement and now that she has already appeared on screen, it shouldn’t be surprising that folks are interested in enquiring whether Bollywood is her next step. Sorry, folks but Mira isn’t even thinking about the film industry for now.

In an interview with a leading entertainment portal, Mira said that she doesn’t believe in impulsivity, adding that she decided to feature in the advert, endorsing an anti-ageing cream, only because she understood the drift of it after going through two pregnancies.

“The reason why I decided to be a part of an ad was because of the nature of the brand and the campaign. It was also a cause which is very close to my heart. I have gone through two pregnancies and I know exactly how a mother feels. It was more about being on the same page rather than doing something for the heck of it. I don't think I will ever do anything for the heck of it,” Mira told the entertainment portal.

Mira, during her interview, in fact, also said that Shahid has been her constant source of support in her endeavours while her family and friends also encouraged her in her journey.

“It is not easy dealing with being judged all the time. People have opinions on every small thing you do. It is difficult. But I feel having a great support system in Shahid, my friends and my family really helped. They have always encouraged me to just be myself. That's very reassuring,” Mira said.

Shahid married Delhi-based Mira in a private ceremony in Gurgaon in 2015. Their first child, daughter Misha, was born a year later while they are expecting their second child together at the moment.

Workwise, Shahid is currently gearing up for the release of his new film Batti Gul Meter Chalu with Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam, scheduled to release on September 21.
