Vajpayee's rule was instrumental in the growth and progress of the country. During his tenure, India successfully did the nuclear tests at Pokhran and proclaimed itself a nuclear power. With his demise, the country has lost a gem of a person and a person worth emulating. Vajpayee will live on in his poems and his speeches.
