Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming venture with Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead has zeroed down on Prateik Babbar as its baddie. A leading daily reported that the film keeps moving back and forth in time, from the present day to college days in the 90's and Prateik will play the super cool popular guy on campus. The film is all set to roll in October in Mumbai but the actors will start workshops with Nitesh from next month.

The daily reported, “Prateik plays Raggie, the coolest guy on the campus, who is a topper academically and numero uno on the sports field as well. He’s the quintessential head boy and not just the teachers and faculty, even the girls adore him while the boys want to be like him. He has already trained in basketball and will be training in football too. His character appears majorly in flashbacks when all the actors are college students and the team has been working on his look keeping the ’90s styles in mind.”

On the work front, Nitesh is riding high after bagging the Filmfare Best Director Award for Dangal and is gearing up for this film. Besides, Nitesh’s film Sushant will be seen in Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut Kizie Aur Manny which is based on John Green’s bestseller The Fault In Our Stars with debutante Sanjana Sanghi. He has also wrapped up a major portion of Abhishek Chaubey’s dacoit-drama Sonchiriya with Bhumi Pednekar. He is also gearing up for the release of Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath with debutante Sara Ali Khan.

On the other hand, Shraddha is looking forward to the release of her horror-comedy Stree opposite Rajkummar Rao and Batti Gul Meter Chalu with Shahid Kapoor. Meanwhile, Prateik had played the baddie in another Sajid Nadiadwala production Baaghi 2 that starred Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in the lead.
