Salman Khan reveals his dad Salim Khan's clear-cut advice on girlfriends

Salman Khan is 52 and not married but over the years, he has been linked with several leading ladies in the industry. However, be it Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Katrina Kaif, Salman never openly admitted to his relationships. Now in a recent interaction on his show Dus Ka Dum, the actor revealed that his father Salim Khan gave him "clear-cut" instructions when it comes to girlfriends.

During the shooting of Dus Ka Dum– Dumdaar Weekend, he put forth a question to the celebrity guests as a part of the show and asked, “How many per cent of Indians are scolded by policemen for romancing in public?” Before they could answer, Salman said it is “very sad” to see couples spending time with each other in public places.

“These couples are helpless as there are around 8-10 people in a small house. These youngsters cannot afford to book a hotel as the society takes it in another way. My father gave me a clear-cut instruction when it came to girlfriends. He gave us the permission to spend time at home rather than roaming around the city,” Salman added.

Well, what could be a better advice than this?

Salman further revealed that the rule was not just not restricted to him or his brothers. “The same instruction was applicable to my sisters as well. If they have any good man in their life, they should first tell their parents and not hide anything from them. He has given us the right to take the decision on whom to marry and whom not to marry.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman is currently shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat. The film hogged a lot of limelight when Priyanka Chopra walked out of the project. Later, Katrina Kaif was roped in for the period drama. The actor also has Kick 2 and Dabangg 3 in the pipeline.
