The film will be helmed by Raj Mehta who is making his directorial debut and is being made under Karan Johar’s banner. However, Karan Johar is yet to make an official announcement about the film but since Akshay has already spilled the beans, the announcement is sure to be made soon. The film reportedly revolves around a married couple who is trying to conceive a baby. Akshay and Kareena are playing the married couple. The film is supposed to be a comedy family drama and will also star Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles. Buzz is that Diljit and Kiara will also be playing a married couple in the film.

Akshay and Kareena have worked in quite a few films in their career. The last film that they did was Kambakht Ishq which came nine years ago. Although Kareena did not share screen space with Akshay in a film for several years she did two cameo appearances in his film Gabbar Is Back and Brothers.
