A new song from Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming film Gold is out. The song is titled Ghar Layenge Gold and is a thrilling and exhilarating anthem sung by Daler Mehndi and Sachin-Jigar. The song has been penned by Javed Akhtar and composed by Sachin-Jigar. Akshay’s film is inspired by true events and is based on the first-ever hockey gold medal won by India as a sovereign state. Ghar Layenge Gold song will give you the motivation to win and fulfill your dreams.

Ghar Layenge Gold is on the same lines of Shah Rukh Khan’s Chak De, Chak de India and will resonate with everyone who wants to achieve the highest form of glory. The song has a rustic feel to it and the video and the lyrics showcase the motivation and inspiration that the players need to achieve their dream of winning the gold medal. Akshay can be seen scouting players to make his team and trying to coax the association for getting the team formed.

Gold also stars television’s popular actress Mouni Roy who is making her Bollywood debut with this film. She plays the role of Akshay’s wife in the film. The film is directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Gold is scheduled to release on August 15.
