After Salman Khan's refusal, is Boney Kapoor making No Entry 2 with son Arjun Kapoor?

Salman Khan had recently mentioned the list of the films he is working upon. He said he has Bharat, Dabangg 3, Sher Khan, a dance film with Remo D'Souza and another film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali which is currently in its scripting stage, in the lineup. He also said that the rumours around him working on films like No Entry 2 or Kick 2 as of now are not true.

However, seems like No Entry 2 is still in making. If the reports published by a leading trade portal are anything to go by, then producer Boney Kapoor is keen to make the sequel of his 2005 hit Hindi film, albeit with a new cast. This means Salman is definitely not going to be a part of it.

The report also suggests that Boney is thinking on casting son Arjun Kapoor in the film following the success of Mubarakan. It quotes a source saying "The movie is currently in the scripting stage. But the story is such that it requires a new cast. Though several names are being discussed, Boney is keen that Arjun lead the pack. Given the success of Mubarakan (2017), Boney feels director Anees Bazmee and Arjun make a strong team".

While no official word on the film is out yet, the sequel is definitely in the works. The producer is currently focusing on his next, a biopic on the legendary Indian football coach, Syed Abdul Rahim, featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead.

Do you think Arjun leading the cast in No Entry 2 would change anything for it's popularity?
