Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra have worked together in the film Baar Baar Dekho which sadly did not light up the box office even though the songs were a hit and the fresh pairing was much talked about. Reports of the two actors reuniting for director Prakash Jha’s next, a political drama were doing the rounds. However, the latest buzz is that Katrina has categorically denied being on board the film. The actress said, " There has been no such project that has been offered to me. So, the news about a movie with Prakash Jha isn’t true."
Katrina had previously worked with Jha in Raajneeti.

On the other hand, Sidharth is pretty keen on the film and is looking forward to having a full narration of the script of the film. The film is slated to go on floors in the next year and Sidharth would be able to wrap up his upcoming ventures. The film is said to be a political heist and it needs to be seen whether Sidharth agrees to the project, or takes a hike the way Katrina has done.
Meanwhile, Sidharth has been busy working on the Vikram Batra biopic which is being produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. He is also said to be featuring in Aashiqui 3. On the other hand, Katrina has wrapped up Aanand L Rai’s Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. The film is slated for a December 2018 release. The actress recently celebrated her 35th birthday after wrapping up Salman Khan’s Da-Bangg Tour in the US and Canada.
Since Katrina has opted out of the film we wonder who will be paired with Sidharth if he agrees for the project. However, it would have been great seeing Katrina and him share screen space once again as they looked good together in Baar Baar Dekho even though the film did not fare well at the box office.
