Saif Ali Khan gets candid about Sacred Games, Kareena's comeback and daughter Sara

Saif Ali Khan is riding high on success after his recent web series Sacred Games has been applauded by the audience and critics alike. The Netflix original series, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, showcased Saif as a righteous policeman Sartaj Singh.

The actor, who has been missing from the Bollywood scene for quite some time now, seems satisfied with his personal and professional life. In a recent interview with a leading channel, Saif got candid about how digital content like Sacred Games is the way ahead and also talked about wife Kareena Kapoor Khan's big hit after son Taimur's birth and working with daughter Sara Ali Khan.

The actor is aware that Sacred Games will perhaps be compared to the likes of Narcos but at the same time hopes that the show finds resonance among the audience in the West. He feels that digital content is an enormous market and it's a different experience than watching a movie in a theatre. Interestingly, he also revealed how he's always up for experimental and edgy work like Chef.

Talking about wife Kareena's comeback with hit film Veere Di Wedding, he quipped, "It's such unique marketplace films or Bollywood that everyone defines themselves by something. Like some people have told you... you know. It's not likely Kareena Kapoor be massive hit after having Taimur. It's great, but that's what my mum did as well in the 60s. So I think we all make our own future." Additionally, he believes that he's comfortable by his son Taimur's social media popularity too as he's always been around people who the audience is fond of, like his parents or his wife.

His daughter Sara is also set to debut in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath and already has Rohit Shetty's Simmba in the pipeline. Terming his relationship with Sara as friendly, he says that there's very little he can lecture her about. He adds, "You know your children when they grow older it does make you suddenly feel like wow time has gone by. I used to be the youngest guy in movies I remember that. But I'm okay."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif has just announced that he will be back with the second part of Go Goa Gone. There are strong speculations that he will soon be seen in a film with daughter Sara but there has been no official confirmation yet.
