Janhvi Kapoor has eyeballs glued to her. Given she is the daughter of the iconic actress Sridevi, expectations are riding high as fans await a star to be reborn. TThe 21-year-old is set to enter Bollywood with Shashank Khaitan-directed Dhadak, a remake of the Marathi superhit Sairat. The Dharma Productions' film arrives in cinemas on July 20, 2018, while Janhvi is pretty pumped up and a bit nervous about her debut, she cannot wait to show her first venture to her family.

In a conversation with a leading daily, Janhvi expresses her happiness over the support extended to her by the entire kin. All of them had turned up to attend the trailer of Dhadak. “I’m so happy that the entire clan came for the trailer launch. I’m blessed to have a family like this who’s always been supportive,” Janhvi tells the daily.

More importantly, she is eager to see how her family, including siblings Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, reacts to her performance. In fact, she even made Anshula cut short on a trip and return back to the bay to catch the special screening.  “Arjun bhaiyya and Anshula didi are not in town right now. She is coming back earlier, on July 14 because I told her she has to be there for the first cast and crew screening. Arjun bhaiyya has some work, so he will be missing it. He’s coming back on July 18, so he will watch the movie after he returns to the city,” Janhvi informs the daily.

Things seem hunky dory for the Kapoors, but Sridevi's void can be strongly felt. Janhvi was filming for Dhadak when her mother passed away in Dubai due to accidental drowning. Albeit the young actress will enter the industry without her superstar mumma, we are sure she will pass the test with flying colours and earn the love and respect Sridevi once commanded.
