Gold song 'Chad Gayi Hai': Akshay Kumar's drunk dance in this high-spirited number embarrasses Mouni Roy

After treating the audience with the teaser, trailer and the first romantic song from the film, the makers of Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy starrer GOLD have finally unveiled the second song, titled Chad Gayi Hai. The trippy number depicts an altogether different side of Akshay's character, Tapan Das, who is the assistant manager of the Indian Hockey team.

Composed by Sachin-Jigar, the song is sung by Vishal Dadlani. Sharing the song, Akshay tweeted, “Let your feet dance kyunki #ChadGayiHai is out! Watch my moves and then send me yours."

From dancing atop the tables to snatching drinks from the guests, Akshay's drunk dance in the over-two-minute video song is hilarious but it surely embarrasses Mouni Roy, who plays Akshay’s Bengali wife.

Apart from Akshay's antics, the video also unravels the conspiracy behind maligning Tapan's image at the gathering as his drink is spiked. While he dances away in all his craziness, his wife and teammates try to gather the sudden change in his behaviour.

Earlier on Wednesday, Akshay teased netizens by posting a cryptic tweet. However, the actor later cleared the confusion as he revealed the name of his upcoming song.

GOLD also features Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar and Sunny Kaushal in pivotal roles. Helmed by director Reema Kagti, the film tells the historic story of the Hockey team that won the first Olympic medal for India as a free nation on August 12, 1948.  Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, GOLD is slated to release on August 15, 2018 and will clash with John Abraham's Satyamev Jayate.
