Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao and Divya Dutta starrer Fanney Khan has created quite a buzz with its heart-wrenching trailer. Now, after teasing the audience with its first look posters, the makers have released the first song from the film. Titled, Mohabbat it is the introductory song of Aishwarya which has been choreographed by Frank Gatson Jr. Frank an international choreographer who has worked with Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez amongst others.
Aishwarya plays a diva, a pop icon in the film and this song is a very important one in the film that helps establish her character. Mohabbat has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and is composed by Tanishk Bagchi. Before the release of the song it was touted to be one of the highlights of the musical family entertainer, and now that we have seen it we can heartily agree with the claim.

The song has a peppy feel to it although its refrain does remind you of the old song Jawaan Hai Mohabbat haseen hai zamaana which was sung by Noor Jehan and featured in the film Anmol Ghadi. However, Sunidhi’s rendition of the song is impeccable and this will soon become one of the most danced songs of the year.
Aishwarya looks breathtakingly beautiful and it makes you wonder that why she was never offered a similar role before. She looks amazing and at her sultry best and her pop sensation act is flawless. Her dance moves suit the beats of the song and we must say that Frank Gatson Jr has done a commendable job with this Bollywood number. Another high point of the song is the costumes created by designer Manish Malhotra. He has given Aishwarya a Beyonce type feel with the dresses but our very own diva looks much more elegant and graceful in them.
Fanney Khan is directed by debutant director Atul Manjrekar. It reunites Anil and Aishwarya after a gap of 17 years. The film is a musical comedy that harps on the fact that a dream never dies and beautifully showcases a relationship between a father and daughter. The film is all set to release on August 3, 2018.
