Arjun Kapoor celebrated his 33rd birthday on June 26, 2018, and received a whole lot of affection, warmth and love from his sister Anshula, step-sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor and cousin sisters Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. His cousin brothers Harshvardhan Kapoor, Mohit Marwah and best friends like Varun Dhawan and Sikander Kher attended the intimate dinner at his home. Sonam, who is holidaying in London with her husband Anand sent her love through social media and lamented the fact that she couldn’t be there with Arjun on his big day.
However, there was one birthday wish and gift that caught Arjun off guard. The wish and the gift came from his grandmother Nirmal Kapoor accompanied with a threat. Sharing a picture of the gift and the wish on his social media site, Arjun Kapoor wrote, “When ur Dadi's gift is a threat & request along with a bribe & command all rolled into one !!! @nirmalkapoorbombay #bossgrandma.” The message is a threat from his paternal grandmother (mother of Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor) who wishes to see her eldest grandson get married soon.

After the wedding of Mohit Marwah and Sonam Kapoor, Arjun is supposedly the next in line according to age to get hitched. However, it remains to be seen with whom the actor will tie the knot. Meanwhile, this year his birthday was extra special as he got wished by everyone in the family with adorable wishes. Chachu Anil Kapoor also shared a funny but heartfelt message on Twitter for Arjun. His colleagues and co-stars also took to social media to send their love and wishes to the actor.
On the work front, Arjun will be next seen in Namastey England with Parineeti Chopra. The two also star in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. He also has Panipat opposite Kriti Sanon.
