Seems like it's raining offers for Taapsee Paanu. The talented actress is gearing up for the release of her upcoming, Soorma, with Diljit Dosanjh. She is also shooting wit her Pink co-star, Amitabh Bachchan for Sujoy Ghosh's next, tentatively titled Badla. She has other big projects too, and a film with Punjabi star, Gippy Grewal is also reportedly one of these projects.
According to a leading daily, Taapsee has been approached to play the lead in Gippy's directorial next. Titled Dare and Lovely, it will be the Manje Bistre actor's second directorial venture post Ardaas, which released in 2016.
The report also mentions that while Taapsee hasn't yet signed anything official, she has given her verbal nod to the film. It quotes a source saying, "The film is set in Punjab with Taapsee playing a girl searching for her roots. She heard the script a few months ago and loved the subject. She has verbally given her nod to the project but has yet to sign on the dotted line".
Gippy, whose was recently seen in Punjabi film, Carry On Jatta 2 with Sonam Bajwa, will not be acting as a lead in the film. The hunt for the lead male actor in the movie is also on.
