Actress Sonakshi Sinha is going to kick-start shooting for Kalank, her next with Dharma Productions. The actress is being featured opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in the movie, which also has Madhuri Dixit-Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt-Varun Dhawan in pivotal roles.
While Madhuri, Alia, Varun and Aditya have already started shooting for the film, Sona was away from the country fulfilling some other work commitments. She also wrapped up the shooting of Happy Phir Bhaag Jayegi, one of her upcoming movies, produced by Aanand L Rai.

She, then, has Dabangg 3 will Salman Khan, which is expected to go on floors this year itself. The actress is currently busy with the rehearsals of Da-Bangg: The Tour Reloaded for which she's travelling with Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Maniesh Paul, Guru Randhawa and Salman, of course.
It is in between these rehearsals that Sonakshi will begin shooting for Kalank this week itself. The look and feel of her character in the film, is reportedly kept traditional. Which means Sona can be seen rocking a desi avatar in this one. In fact, PeepingMoon learnt an exclusive update on her character in the film. A source told us, "Sonakshi has a short role in Kalank. She plays the role of a banjaran who falls in love with Aditya Roy Kapur. They get married but soon after she is killed in the partition. She will shoot for her portion in Andheri where yet another lavish set is being erected. This set will be Sanjay Dutt’s house who plays a patriarch in the film. Unlike her previous movies, Sonakshi will be seen donning a different look altogether in Kalank".
