The trailer of Dhadak, featuring late Sridevi’s eldest daughter Janhvi Kapoor’s debut film is going to release today at 12 pm, and the wait is palpable. The film stars Janhvi and Ishaan Khattar in the lead roles and is the Hindi remake of Nagraj Manjule’s Marathi hit film Sairat. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is one of the most anticipated films of the year and the stills of the film with its posters have already generated quite a buzz in the industry and among the audience.

Karan Johar, under whose banner the film is made said in a statement, “We are honoured and excited to collaborate with Zee studios on the official adaptation of the immensely celebrated and loved Sairat ..Dhadak is Shashank Khaitan’s third film post his Dulhania series and a true labour of love ....we present Janhvi and Ishaan to the world today and can’t wait for the viewers to experience their innocence and magic on celluloid...Dhadak trailer out today at 12 pm!!!”
The filmmaker also took to his Twitter a couple of days ago to relay the information about the trailer and shared another poster of the film. Dhadak will release on July 20, 2018.
