A new song titled Aa Jao Na from Veere Di Wedding is out. A slow number, it has been sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Sachdeva. The movie which features Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania seems to have got an impressive music album. The other songs in the film -- Bhangra Ta Sajda, Laaj Sharam and Tareefan are already crawling up the chartbusters list.
Aa Jao Na begins with the Veere -- Kareena Kapoor, telling his fiance, played by Sumeet Vyas, that 'I tried a lot but I can't fulfill your expectations and deal with all this family and relationship business'. And then she breaks into a glum mode with her BFFs trying to cheer her up.

It is about dealing with separation and analysing the extent of your emotional investment in a relationship. The lyrics of the song which has been penned down by Raj Shekhar go like:
Shaamein kai hogi tehri hui
Baatein kai hogi ruthi hui...
Chhoti si zidd hogi, lambi si raatein
phir bhi pyar reh jayega...
While the music of the song has been composed by Shashwat himself, the vocals by Arijit seem just perfectly fitting the mood of the song -- soft and serene. Which is nothing new when it comes to talking about the singer's talent.

Veere Di Wedding is slated to release on June 1. The movie, which the makers say is #NotAChickFlick, has been able to generate enough buzz for itself. One reason, of course, is the fact that it has a stunning cast.
