Sonam Kapoor started off the hat-trick of weddings, Neha Dhupia followed suit and now sorry to break your hearts but our very own Himesh Reshammiya has completed the trio of filmland weddings. The singer-composer is to wed his live-in girlfriend, Sonia Kapoor. The wedding will be an intimate ceremony, on the terrace of Himesh’s apartment building. Only family and close friends are said to be present to witness the ceremony.
The couple had celebrated their Mehendi two days ago, and are pegged to host a reception for all their friends and associates soon. This is the second time around for Himesh who had ended his 22-year long marriage to wife Komal. While the marriage supposedly ended owing to compatibility issues, there had been strong rumours that they parted because of Himesh's extra-marital affair with TV actress Sonia Kapoor.
Even though he was married, Himesh and Sonia were surprisingly open about their relationship. Apparently, Himesh was keen to get the divorce sorted quickly because he wanted to remarry Sonia. Post his divorce, Himesh had released a press note stating, “Sometimes in life mutual respect becomes most important and giving due respect to our relationship, me and Komal have amicably decided to part ways legally as husband and wife and there is no problem whatsoever with this decision amongst us and our family, as every member of the family have respected our decision and yet Komal is and will always remain a part of our family, and I will always be a part of her family.”

His ex-wife Komal had also chipped in to say that Sonia was not responsible for their divorce. Well, all’s well that ends well we hope and congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Reshammiya.
