She is invariably grabbing eyeballs for her interesting airport looks but every once in a while Kareena Kapoor Khan drops a statement that leaves all gobsmacked…

Recently the actress had a couple of airline staffers gaping at her bluntness. While returning to Mumbai on a domestic flight, the staff of a leading airline chatted a bit with the Veere Di Wedding stunner. They also asked her why she seemed to prefer a rival airline.

Where most would have come up with some lame excuse, nothing of the sort for our Bebo! She went right ahead and informed them that most of their flights were always full and the rush of people made things difficult for her. And then the piece de resistance: “You give me free tickets and I will fly on your airline.”

Naturally after the initial shock, all around couldn’t stop chuckling at her frankness. Clearly, no subtle hinting business for our Bebo; she will go right out and make herself amply clear. After all, while everyone loves free stuff it takes a Kareena to openly admit to it!

Incidentally, Bebo keeps creating mini-incidents at airports. Recently she had entered the airport in a rush, minus any valid ID proof. At the gates, where other ordinary mortals would be stopped and not allowed to proceed further, Bebo managed to sail through. As her colleague pointed out to the airport security, “Don’t you recognise her? The ticket is in her name.” Can’t argue with that logic, can you?

Getting back to her airport style, Kareena had earlier dismissed the idea that celebrities are expected to be dressed up while travelling. “We should dress like normal human beings. Awful. Why should we have it? Why should we be dressing up to go on a flight? But there's pressure,” she had admitted.
