Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are working on the Ayan Mukerji movie Brahmastra. The superhero fantasy film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy is being produced by Karan Johar.
Alia has been vocal about her admiration for Ranbir Kapoor, right from the beginning. Way back in 2015 Alia had revealed, "My biggest crush is Ranbir Kapoor." The pretty student of Karan Johar had also joked that she wished to marry Ranbir, on a chat show with KJO. Well, Alia is therefore obviously thrilled to be working with the heartthrob.
During a recent interview, Alia said about working with Ranbir and Ayan, "Ayan is my director by day, partyplanner by night and best friend for life. He’s my 4 am buddy. And I’ve always wanted to work with Ranbir. In fact, I was looking forward to the day I’d get to shoot with him because I’ve been fascinated by the way he steps into his characters. When we filmed together, it was exactly the way I had imagined it. He’s not only a fabulous actor but also a fabulous human being. It really doesn’t get better than a film set with Ayan and Ranbir on it."
Isn't that sweet?
There have been rumours that Alia and Ranbir share more than a warm friendship. When asked about it Alia had said, "I strongly believe that ‘silence is golden.’ Even actors have their own personal lives – it’s called ‘personal’ for a reason. I have one too. People can say whatever they want as I don’t get bothered by such ‘stories’. I just hope people don’t think that this is all that I’m doing in my life."
