Alia 'Gully Girl' Bhatt wraps up shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. See Pics

Alia Bhatt on Sunday night took to her Instagram Stories to share that she would miss the film’s sets of Gully Boy. Her shooting for the film has concluded.

 

 

“And it’s a film wrap for ‘Gully Boy’! Going to miss this set too much. The best best crew and all the best people! Love you all... Miss you already Zozo (Akhtar) and Tutu (Ranveer Singh)! Big Hug! See you guys very soon,” Alia wrote. She later shared a photograph of herself sporting a black t-shirt which had Gully Boy written on it.“’Gully Boy’ film wrap,” she captioned the image.

Recently, the two stars were seen shooting for the film at Goregaon railway station. The last day of the shoot saw Alia getting emotional and crying her heart out while hugging director Zoya Akhtar. 'Gully Girl' aka Alia was seen in a red T-shirt and denim, with her head covered in a hijab.

Ranveer was also seen in a denim jacket paired with green pants, hanging at the station's bridge, shooting for his portion.

A few days back, Ranveer and Alia shot for a sequence, a scene straight out of the Shakespearean drama Romeo and Juliet, Jignesh (as Ranveer is called in the film) hauled himself up a bamboo scaffolding to reach his dearest Zoya (Alia’s character). Adorable!

Gully Boy is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment is reportedly a coming-of-age story based on the lives of street rappers in Mumbai. Ranveer will reprise the role of a street rapper, based on Mumbai street rappers Divine and Naved. The is slated for Valentines Day release next year.
