Today, some scintillating pictures have made its way to the social media where Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is returning to the silver screen in VDW post motherhood, is looking drop dead gorgeous posing with her girl gang. The trailer for VDW will be launched on April 19, with the actresses getting together to unveil the trailer with a press conference. While the first look of the film had arrived in October 2017, a new poster has released this January, with the film releasing on June 1, 2018.
While Sonam has managed to not spill any secrets about the story, Bebo being Bebo had evidently let the cat out of the bag earlier this year. In the course of an interview, she had revealed that she is possessive about her friends and that Veere Di Wedding reflected that side of her. “It’s the story of four girls who attend my wedding and all the 'dhamaal' that it involves. It showcases women and their emotions. It’s the right time to do this kind of film.” The film aims to portray wedding fun from a women’s perspective and so, promises to be fun and emotional – just like real weddings.
Directed by Shashank Ghosh, the film is presented by Ekta Kapoor's home banner Balaji Motion Pictures and is a romantic comedy is co-produced by Sonam's sister Rhea Kapoor, Ekta and Nikhil Dwivedi.
