Salman Khan was to spend another night in a prison after a court on Friday decided to reserve its order on his bail plea until Saturday.
District and Sessions Court Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi reserved the bail hearing in a 1998 blackbuck poaching case in which the Bollywood superstar was convicted on Thursday and was sentenced to five years imprisonment.
However, it seems that there are more problems in store for the Dabangg star.
More news on this is yet awaited but it seems that there is no temporary sigh of relief for the Khans over the next few days.
Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam allegedly went hunting on October 1-2 in 1998 outside a forest reserve near Kankani village in Jodhpur while shooting for Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1998.
While Salman was found guilty, the four co-stars and a local, Dushyant Singh, were acquitted.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Dev Kumar Khatri convicted Salman under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife Protection Act.
Salman is lodged in the Jodhpur Central Jail as "Qaidi No. 106".
Whole of Bollywood and Salman's fans and well-wishers are praying for Salman's release. Varun Dhawan shared his support commenting, “I know for a fact that Salman bhai and his family have the utmost respect and faith in our judiciary system. @BeingSalmanKhan is one of the strongest and most genuine people I know and I’m sure he will come out of this stronger.”
On the work front, Salman was busy with the multi-starrer, Race 3. Salman's close friend Ali Abbas took to social media to post a wounded picture of Salman.
