Kriti in the house: Joins Akshay, Riteish and Bobby for reincarnation caper Housefull 4

The cast of Housefull 4 just got a shot of glam! Kriti Sanon has joined the cast of this multi-starrer which is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is to be directed by Sajid Khan.
The Bareilly Ki Barfi stunner, Kriti had made her dream debut with Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti opposite Tiger Shorff in 2015. Now she will reunite with her mentor, Nadiadwala who has apparently offered her the role of leading lady opposite Akshay Kumar. Part 4 of this madcap entertainer franchise also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Bobby Deol. One more female role apparently remains to be cast.

More than happy to be on board, Kriti shared, “Joining the cast of Housefull 4 is like coming back home. My journey started with Sajid sir in Heropanti. Since then, he has always been there for me and has guided me. I can’t wait to work with him again and that too, in the super-successful Housefull franchise!”

Kriti just recently signed another big budget film, the Ashutosh Gowariker's historical Panipat opposite Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Kapoor.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had grabbed headlines after he had announced that just the VFX of the upcoming Housefull film would have a budget of Rs.75 crore! He has also announced a 3D experience for the fans of the franchise. It will probably be the first film in the comedy genre to release in a 3D format in Bollywood.

Touted to be the most expensive comedy-drama from his production house, the film will reportedly see Akshay Kumar play a warrior king in this reincarnation tale set in two eras.
Last year it had been reported that Kriti was a tad miffed with mentor Sajid. He had chosen Disha Patani opposite Tiger Shroff in Baaghi 2; a film she had hoped to be part of. With her inclusion in Housefull 4, guess all are happy in the house after all!
